LEAEING TRAINERS. OF 1910. To F. Ernes., trainer of the stable of It. F. Carman, fell the distinction of heading the list of American trainers for 1910. Mr. Finest saddled the winners of 105 races, which came fairly close to the mord-breuking feat of II. G. Bedwell in saddling 11. winners during 1009. In respect to money won, Mr. Ernest was surpassed by S. C. Ilildretb. Tj Wvlsh and T. J. Healey. who stood respectively second, tlfth and ninth in the item of races won. -Mr. llildreth saddled the winners of forty-eight races, the proceeds of -which amounted to 4S,010, while the amount of money won by the horses saddled hy Mr. Ernest was 1911.sh4,325. J. W. Parker, who was active on the minor tracks of the west, is 1 bird among the trainers, while II. G. Bedwell, who lade fair to duplicate, and perhaps surpass, his phenomenal record of l.H9, when suspension at I-.-uoiiiu in July put an end to his opportunities, is fourth. William Walker, Lew Marion, J. Iilute, Raleigh Colston and Henry McBanlol. who were among the leaders of 1900, occupy less prominent positions In the subjoined list of those who succeeded IV sending ten or more winners to the post in 1910: Trainer.
