MEADA mi-.de up ground steadily into a fast going third. VOLTROMK closed a big gap and finished close up and the same applies to MOSSBACK. GYPSY GIRL showed speed. ADA -MEADE went into the lead on the stretch turn and seemed the winner in the stretch, but tired in the final drive. THE BAILIFFS DAUGHTER trailed far back to the stretch, then finished with surprising speed into a close-up third. MARBURG made the pace to the stretch and quit suddenly. ACADEMIST set the carlv pace and held on resolutely to the end. BEATRICE SOULE was away badly and closed a big gap into a close up fourth. SUMMERTIME finished fast.
