The parlay was good except as to Eaton and was a draw in his case. Dutch, ltrantford. Ont. The straight bet and the place bet were independent transactions and are to lie treated accordingly. I. M.. Chicago. The parlay won as a single place bet on Dress Iarade IL, being void as to Eaton because there was no separate place price against him. Bex. Toronto, Can. Presuming the transactions were at average odds, the 00 coming from Dutch Rock was sufficient to carry the Twickenham and Ronnie Hard wagers through. The sum won on the two was 57.50. .T. M. R.. .St. Louis. Mo. The governing point in the case was that a named sum, "if coming," was to go on a certain horse and that after the place bet. had been won there was not enough "coming" from it to execute the bet. The transaction ended right there, unless there was an understanding that a smaller sum than that named was to go anyhow. In that ease the money would be split equally straight and place and could win to the limit and no more.
