MUNRO was hard ridden through the first furlong and. taking the lead, showed much speed in paiviuaking. but tired when caught and was not persevered with at the end. LOU LANIER dosed 1 gap and finished gamely, but was driving hard at the end to outstay KEXMARE QUEEN. The latter closed :i great gap in the last quarter ami finished with a good burst of speed. AMANDA LEE ran well. i.ORD NELSON finished fast. ELM ETA HAMILTON quit badly. EL OHO went into the lead at once and, setting the pace all the way, withstood challenges from AUXT KATE Mid LIMPET while rounding the far turn and, responding gamely to urging in the final drive, won easing nil. LIMPET ran on the outside of the leaders all the way and was carried wide 011 the turns, but ran a good race and finished gamely. HENRY HUTCHISON was in close quarters on the inside to the stretch turn and came fast when clear. AUNT KATK ran in closest pursuit of the pacemaker to the furlong post, then tired. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to 00 and bought in. Overweights Coletta. 2 pounds.
