LATONIAS FINE STAKE ARRAY. Cincinnati, O., February 11. The Latonia Jockey Club announced the stakes for its spring meeting today. The Latonia Derby, carrying a value of .-000, is the headliner. There are seven other stake events and the association will lwve a number of handicaps and special evcuts during the thirty-one days meeting, varying ii value from .1911.sh00 to .,000 added. While no dates have been assigned to Latonia and Louisville, it is pretty nearly a sure thing that Latonia will open June 12 and close July 15. Besides the Derby the stakes include: Cllpsotta Stakes, for two-year-old fillies, five fur-loncrs. .,000 guaranteed. Harold Stakes, for colts and geldings, two-year-olds, live furlongs, ,000 guaranteed. Cincinnati Trophy, for two-year-olds, five and a half furlongs, ,CO0 guaranteed, and the Trophy Cup. Merchants Stakes, selling, three-year-olds and upward, one mile, .,000 guaranteed. Brewers Exchange Handicap, three-year-olds and upward, six furlongs. ,C00 guaranteed. Independence Handicap, three-year-olds and upward, 1 1-10 miles. .,000 guaranteed. Cincinnati Hotel Handicap, three-year-olds and upward, 1 1-S miles, ,000 guaranteed. The stakes elose March 1.
