THISTLE ROSE was last to leave the barrier and. making up ground steadily and gamely, was going fastest at the end and should have won. ZAPOTEC was speedy and ran well, but tired badly in the last sixteenth. DEFY finished fast and close up. BILL LAMB sot the early pace, but tired in the stretch racing. AGILITY opened a long lead quickly and set the pace to the stretch, but tired badly in the final sixteenth; PLUME ran forwardly to the Stretch and quit. PROJECTILE closed a gap and finished fast. VREEIjANI was outpaced in the early running, hut finished fast. COLINET was going fast at the end. BOBBY BOYER showed speed, but ran out on the turn, losing all chance. STANLEY FAY ran poorly.
