"Sitting Bull" Johnson from Juarez to Canada with him especially to ride his jumpers. George W. Berry will take ,a string of A. B. Sprcckels two-year-olds to Xew York the coming spring. Jockey C. H. Shilling will ride them when his services are not required by S. C. Hildretu. Stanley Davis, who is going abroad March 1 to ride for Theodore W. Myers mid J. M. Cohen, iu France and Belgium, is to receive a retainer of ,000 besides a stipulated Jfec for every winning mount. Australia certainly does as much for tlie encouragement of the horse as any other community.
