FLORENCE ROBERTS was off flying and, following MINSTRA closely from the start. Snally outstayed thelatter in a game finish. MINSTRA had an advantage at the start and set the pace to. the final sixteenth before succumbing. IDUM was off so badly as to have no chance, but closed a big gap into a fast rushing third. INCLEMENT was saved in near pursuit of the leaders to the last furlong, then moved up fast and outstayed QUALITY STREET in a well contested finish. The latter closed a big gap in the fust half and made a resolute finish. TWILIGHT QUEEN also made up ground in the early running and. after tiring in the stretch, rallied and got up for third place in the last stride. ABU SLUPSKEY ran well, but tired in the last sixteenth. BURLEIGH ran forwardly and gamely all the way. ABF.LLA set the early pace and piit badly. Scratched 93270 Hooray, 114; 942S4sGrace G., 112. The latter dropped back at the start, hut moved up steadily and rapidly in the last half and finished fast and resolutely. AYAMB came through the stretch with a rush, but could not get up. LIKELY DIEUDONNE set a fast pace to midway of the stretch, then tired under punishment. ROY JUNIOR was prominent in the early running, but also failed to stay. MASSA closed an early gap into forward contention and finished gamely. FLORA RILEY was almost left and closed an immense gap into .1 fast gaining third. BUCOLIC took a quick lead and set the pace to midway of the stretch before tiring and giving way. MECHANT tired. GRETCHEX G. quit. SORROWFUL was bumped out of any chance at the three-furlongs post.
