JUAREZ HAS A BIG RUN-UP. El Paso. Tex.. February 14. The feature at Terrazas Park today was the Colima Stakes, a selling atfair, at one ami one-eighth miles. Jacquelina. from W. T. Andersons stable, bad no trouble in winning this event. It was. however, a costly victory for her owner, she being run up by II. R. Brandt, owner of Angelus. which finished second, from ,300 to ,400, which took the purse away from the winner. The success of two favorites and two well-backed second choices resulted in the talent about breaking even with the layers. Beginning Thursday next, post time for the first race will be 2:15 p. in. G. W. Berry, racing manager for A. B. Spreckels, the millionaire California breeder, wired today for twelve stalls and said that lie was shipping from the Oakland track tonight. It is officially announced by the management of the Jockey Club Juarez that the meeting now in pro- grass at Terrazas Park will be extended to April 1 aud will run every day in the week, making seven racing days. Tins stakes have boon rearranged so that the Derby and Oaks will be run on the last day of the meeting.
