CHOICES DO WELL AT TAMPA. Tampa. Fla.. February IS. Good sport; came with the running of this afternoons card and afforded pleasure to a big attendance. The lwokmakers had no cause, for complaint on the score of liberal play, as most of those present were speculatively inclined. Favorites and second choices accounted for nearly all the purses, but the failure of several supposed good things saved the layers from loss. The judges were satisfied with the explanation ofTered by the owner of Lighthouse and will allow" the horse to start In future. Jockeys A. Matthews and WinkQeld were suspended for two days each by the starter.
