GOSSIP FROM PACIFIC COAST. San Francisco, Cal., February 27. A number of layers of Kids are still in the, city, but others have loft, for tlie east, including Joe Rose. Members of bis crew remained here. William R. Engstrom has gone to Minneapolis on a visit to his home. G. n. Keone has thirty-nine horses on his hands at Oakland and is endeavoring to dispose of some of thorn. The majority are young horses in good condition, and the Keones did not feel disposed to offer tboui at auction, where they would have to be sacrificed at low prices. Mr. Keone expects to race most of the stable on the tracks of the inter-mountain circuit during the summer months.
