VREELAND AGAIN WINNER AT JUAREZ EI Paso. Tex.. March 2. Summerlike weather and an evenly balanced card drew 2,000 persons to Tenazas Park today. The feature of the afternoon was a handicap of three-quarters, iu which Vreeland, from tho stable of Barney Schrciher, was returned winner after an exciting stretch struggle with Enfield. The latter, after losing ground in the early running, closed like a whirlwind, and had the distance been a bit greater, he doubtless would have been returned the winner. The success of three first choices gave the public an even break with the books. Barney Schreiher today sold the good colt Bill Lamb to P. Burrows aud Queen Bee to M. C. Pritch-ard. Col. Matt J. AVinn. manager of the Jockey Club Juarez, leaves tonight for a visit to Lexington and Louisville iu connection with the forthcoming meetings at those places. He will return during the early part of next week aud will then remain here to the end of the meeting.
