NOTES OF THE TURF. Anyone knowing the present location of former jockey Monk Overton will confer a favor by sending his address to this office. The English Jockey Club is not easily stuuipedcd, and the attempt to create the belief that English breeders were in danger of a deluge of American-bred yearlings for public sale has only elicited from the stewards a reply that they did notsee any immediate danger of such a thing. They are quite correct iu their facts. The great stud farms In America have been depleted to such an extent by sales iu Kuglaud. Franco.
