CLAMOR DIES IN THE WEST. The report conies from California that Clamor, wiuner of the Waterhouse Cup at Oakland in 1000, recently died of lung fever contracted while en roufe from Oakland to the home of his owner, C. B. Clow, of Salt Lake City. The year before his Waterhouse Clip "success. Clamor had finished second to Montgomery in the famous Burns Handicap, the premier event or Pacific coast racing. lie went wrong after his Waterhouse Cup victory and was sold by Keene Bros., in whose colors he had been racing, to Mr. Clow.
