JOCKEY TROXLER IN GOOD FORM. Tampa, Fla., March 7. Jockey Troxlers good riding featured todays racing and enabled the boys big following lo make a heavy inroad on the bookmakers bankroll. According to report the layers experienced one of the most disastrous days of the present racing term. Troxler inaugurated his series of successes in the opener on Charlie OBrien, and followed it with Carthage, Taraar and Ringer. The quartet were post favorites and heavily backed. At a conference this morning between Manager Strode and Messrs. Smith, Colby and Jones, the advisability of continuing here for three days next week was discussed. The three-days extension proposition was witli the view of affording several of the owners an opportunity to earn shipping expenses. It is intended to frame the program mostly with consolation purses and also race with a free gate. The plan is still in abayance, but will probably be adopted. Jockev Griffin was suspended for three days by the judges for interference with other starters in the fifth race, when he cut sharply across them soon after the start. Fiftv additional horses were pledged today to engage in the contemplated racing at Pensacola. The list at present numbers about 200, ample to conduct a meeting of about three weeks duration. The purse offering at Pensacola, while notldefinitely announced, will amount to 50 or daily. . Riders for the amateur race tomorrow are as follows: Sir Compton, Mr. Bareo; How About You, Mr. Durst: Haymarket. Mr. Weaver; Don Hamilton, Mr. Roach; John Garner, Mr., Judy; Alencon, Mr. Moody.
