: LATONIAS SPLENDID LIST OF STAKE ENTRIES . --. 4, Cincinnati. 0., Marcli 11, General Manager John Hachmeister lias completed the tabulation of the entries for the eight stakes to be decided at Latonia during the spring meeting scheduled to open June 10 and close July 15. The grand total is 747, a wonderful showing. The results far exceed the expectations of Manager Hachmeister and his associates and represent a new mark for Latonia racing. The Cincinnati Trophy, for two-year-olds, Jrew the largest entry list 144. Its material comprises the cream of the iuveniles that have been racing at tic winter tracks, as well as many promising youngsters that are vet to make their debut. The nominations are notable for quality as well as quantity and presage a brilliant I period of racing at the historic Latonia course this spring. The Latonia Derby, which will be the feature par excellence of the meeting, has attracted a sparkling list of prospective contestants. Among the forty-nine nominations for tills event the names of Mock-ler. Meridian, Heatlierbroom. White Wool, Uncle Ben, Aldrian, Pluvious, Star Charter. Edda. Captain Carmody, Governor Gray.
