DUNNE COLORS VICTORIOUS AT JUAREZ. Scbago Scores in Handicap Feature of Mexican Card Plunge on Mr. Dock Goes Wrong1, EI Paso, Tex., Alarch 14. The card provided by Secretary Jasper today was a fairly good one, and as it was ladies day a line crowd turned out. The feature of the day was a handicap for three-year-olds, which numbered among the contestants several prominent. Juarez and Kentucky Derby eligibles. Jim Dasey was accorded the post of honor In the betting, his good showing against Trance seeming to warrant the supposition that he would be returned the winner. The smart set showed a disposition to give W. G. Yankes good colt, Quartermaster, the cold shoulder, because he had never shown anything with weight up. Pat Dunne sprung the surprise with Sehngo, which lightly weighted contestant rushed into an early lead and made every post a winning one. It was one of the most disastrous days of the meeting for the followers of form, not a solitary choice" being returned winner, although the two winning second choices wore fairly well backed. The day was replete". with surprises, the most notable of which was the success of the trick horse, Charlie Itothschild. in the last race after one of the most sensational plunges of the .meeting, had been made on Air. Dock. The latter was backed from 20 down to 7 with wagers still going on as the horses went to the post. The horse, . however, failed to show much speed. Jockey S. .Martin inclined the displeasure of starter Cassldy to the extent of ten days suspension for disobedience at the barrier iu the second race. Pleasant, Gypsy Girl, Cotytto, F.leanor Stribling. La Toupee. Valley Stream and Renettu .. were sold to J. C. Morris at private sale today. Air. .Morris will take his purchases to Zaeatecas, Mexico, where thov will be used for breeding purposes.
