TAMPA RACING TO GO ON INDEFINITELY. Tampa. Fla.. Alarch 14. The bookmakers made another cleanup this afternoon,- as five of the favorites suffered defeat. Ideal weather again helped to attract generous patronage, while the small fields tempted increased speculation. Some of the contests were interesting and resulted iu close finishes. The announced intention of many owners to ship away this week lias caused the management to come out witii an announcement that the racing here will go on until Alarch 25 at least, and that if conditions warrant the extension may be prolonged until well along in April. With a continuance of the racing here, the prospects for opening at Pensacola are growing slimmer, and the project will probably be abandoned. Owners here are not really in favor of a return to the gulf coast track. All the horses that have been racing here in the name of Wayne Jopllu were transferred to Jacksonville today. Jockey Pickett also went to Aloncrief Park, as did Henry Ale-Coulsky with Louis Katz. J. F. Kelly will ship his horses to Louisville on Thursday next. Ills filly Marbles will be taken along and au effort made to resume her training. Jockey O. White, was suspended for three days by the judges for rough riding in the second race. Starter Alurray suspended jockeys AIcArdle and Whatley for two days for disobedience at the post.
