DONALDO ran a good race and was on the outside of the leaders all the way. SAM MATTHEWS saved ground on every turn and outgamcd the tiring INFATUATION in the final drive. The latter set the early pace, hut quit. ELM ETA HAMILTON stumbled and lost her rider. MELTO.V-D.XLE reared up when the barrier was sprung and was left. DECENCY Kot off slowly and made up ground. The latter moved up quickly at. the furloug iost Into a slight lead, but tired when: the final drive came. AVARDEN closed a big gap from a slow beginning, but was driving hard at the end to outstay KEMPTON PARK for third place. The latter closed a huge gap aud finished with a r.iBli. PREMIER only ran fairly well. P.EN LOMOND showed speed, but quit. The winner, entered for .00, was bid up to ,300 and sold to C. J. Odell.
