A two-year-old was the chief money-winner of the year. The year before a three-year-old had boon the loader, following two years of juvenile supremacy. In other years since Daily Racing Form began the compilation of such statistics in 1902. the leadership had fallen to three-year-olds. The failure of horses of more mature ago to head the list in these successive years Is of course due to the paucity of their opportunities. so far au the great prizes of the turf in this country is concerned.
