COLETTE R was a forward contender soon after the start, but was driving hard to the end to outstay NANNIE MDEE. The latter ran well and taslly disposed of OLD HANK In the Inst furlong. The latter set the earlv pace, but tired in the stretch. CLEARWATER crossed his legs and fell on the stretch turn. TERRIBLE DAN ran fairly well. LITTLE DUTCH was away badly. CARTHAGE set the early pace, but failed to stay the route.
