Jack Atkin has been retired from the track to the peaceful repose and rest of a future at Woodlands Stud. Next to Koseben he was the best sprinter of recent years and almost the equal of that famous liorse as a weight carrier. Moreover, he was a much better stayer than the Itig Train and up to a considerable route when trained for it. a statement confirmed by his signal success in the 0,000 Dominion Handicap last year over a mile and a quarter course at Fort Rrie.
