NOTES OF THE TURF. William Walkers Servicencc is showing a decided partiality for second money at Norfolk. He has made six starts during the meeting and has finished second each time. George P. Sherman, owner of Stargowan and other horses, was the victim of an automobile accident recently, in which he sustained severe injuries, including the breaking Of a pelvis lnine. Mr. Sherman is a Baltimore lawyer. J. B. Joels Dean Swift ran iu the City and Suburban Handicap at Epsom the past week as usual. This horse has now been a contender in the City and Suburban for eight consecutive years. Twice lie lias won, twice he was second and twice third. This years running found him among the also rans lor the second time.
