LAGOON HAS ITS GREATEST CROWD. Salt Lake City, Ftah. June 10.— The greatest half-holiday gathering ever seen at a race course in Utah visited lagoon Park today and witnessed right good sport. The finishes were" of the exciting kind and the enthusiasm shown at the conclusion of each race attested the keen interest taken by local patrons of the sport. The best field of the day was seen In the fourth race, with Spoha and Myles OConneli most in favor with the talent, the first named having a slight call at post time. Frank Mullens set a hot pace nearly all the way and stood a drive gamely, but succumbed finally to the Bedwell candidate, which was always close to the pacemaker. Execute was » distant third.
