MERODE. ■Way fast, followed NANCY CRATER closely and drew into an easy lead in the last furlong. LADY Me-CEE. much the best, ran green and closed a big gap in tne strelch. NANCY CRATER showed much speed and set a fast pace, but tired after going a half mile. SADIE SHAPIRO closed ■ gap and tired in the final drive PENDANT went fairly well. LUCKY WISH was unhickv. LIMOUSINE liolted on the first turn and was pulled up. HENRIETTA W. acted fractiously and was left. The latter set the pace and showed high speed, but tired iu the stretch drive LOLLS KATZ ran fairly well only. RAMAZAN can do much better. ALICE BAIBD quit in the last quarter.
