Tom Welsh, who recently returned from Europe, says he is so impressed with racing in France that he is considering the sale of his real estate holdings in this country so that be can take up his permanent residence abroad. Morris Welsh, his brother, who has been handling horses for Carroll Brown, will sail on Saturday for Ireland, whero he will make his home in future. Harry La Montagues Vulcain finished third in tho Prix do Maguy of 3,000 francs at the Malsons-La-tlitto course in France Monday. Stanley Davis rode-the horse. .1. 1. Thomes Monsieur Guerln ran second and W. K. Vanderhilts Alphlte finished third in tho Prix Dolma Bagbfche of 5.000 francs. Mr. Vanderhilts Mireuibo, ridden by ONeill, ran second in the race for the Prix du Ludo of 5,000. francs.
