IDAHO TRACK NEARING COMPLETION. Spokane, AArash., July 19. Secretary Frank AAr. Smith of the Couer dAlene Fair and Racing Association lias returned from a successful trip to Aau-eouver in the interest of. the inaugural meeting at the Alan, Idaho, track, beginning September 11. He found that the horsemen now racing in British Columbia are keenly interested in the success of the local racing venture and he expects fully ninety per cent, of the horses at Vancouver to be shipped here. Some of thein will be transferred direct to Alan at the close of the Arancouver racing July 29 to await the opening of the new track, while others will race in Montana before coming here. The Alan track will be completed within three weeks, according to W. W. Finn, superintendent of construction. Extra work on tho track, consisting of the laying of an additional top dressing of sand and clay, which is Keeping thirty teams busy, lias delayed the completion a bit.
