ACOLIN stood a long drive gamely, wore ROBERT MITCHELL down gradually and just got up to win in the last stride. ROBERT MITCHELL, showing the most speed, set a fast pace and hung ou gamely. NEW CAPITAL, probably best, was sharply cut off by ROBERT MITCHELL and forced to pull up, then closed up very gamely and was gaining fast at the end. BARNSDALE ran well to the stretch and tired. NO QUARTER began badly, but closed a gap and made a good stretch rush. PRINCE WINTER showed early speed, but tired ih tne stretch. BANORELLA did her best, set a List pace and hung on gamely. TOMMY McGEE ran well and finished fast. FRED MULIIOLLAND showed speed, but was badly ridden and can do betier.
