NEW STAR TAKES DUFF ERIN PARK FEATURE. Toronto. Out., August 3. A card of eight races was provided by the management for the second day at Dufferin Park. The feature was a race at one autl one-sixteenth miles. New Star, tho favorite, acted badly tit the post, but when the break came he rushed to the front and was never in danger of defeat. Mnzoula aud Aanen had a hard light for second place. AV. Norval. racing secretary of the association, was injured last evening when an advertising sign fell on his foot. James Milton acted in his stead. Tommy Bunts, who rode. Premier to victory in the fifth race, was suspended three days by starter .Murray for breaking up the start. Jockeys C. Knight, A. AVhite and B. Grlffln were lined 0 "each for disobedience at the barrier. John Milburu purchased .Fanchette from N. Moora today.
