MUTUELS FOR IDAHO TRACK NEXT YEAR. Vancouver, B. C, August 11. Robert F. Lcighton, racing secretary on British Columbia tracks and presiding judge for the inaugural race meeting at the new course at Alan, Idaho, which is now nearing completion, has returned here after a visit to the new track enthusiastic over the outlook there. There will be thirty-six days of racing and there are accommodations for SOO horses. Bookmakers will operate at Alan this season, but plans are being made for the introduction next year of the pari-mutuel machines, which have proved so successful here.
