LEXINGTON STAKES ARE ANNOUNCED. Lexington, Ky., August 15. William II. Shelley, racing secretary of the Kentucky Association, today announced five stakes to be decided during the Lexington fall meeting, September 14 to September 23. Stakes are to close Saturday, Septenilier 2, and are as follows: Autumn Cup. handicap sweepstakes, 0 nomination and .0 additional to start: for three-year-olds and upward; to which the association adds 50 and a silver cup valued at 50. Weights to be announced Saturday. September !. and race to be run on the opening day of the meeting; two and a quarter miles. Phoenix Hotel Handicap, for three-year-olds and upward, 1911.sh00 added: one mile and an eighth. Idle Hour Stakes, for two-year-old colts and geldings, 00 added; six furlongs. Senorita Stakes, for two-year-old fillies, $."00 added: six furlongs. Brewers Selling Stakes, for three-year-olds and upward, 00 added: one mile, k To each of the last-named four stakes the entrance fee Is 0 and starters will pay r additional. U In addition to the stakes that have already closed for the spring meeting of 1!12 the Breeders Futu-Frity, Camden Handicap and F.lue Grass Stakes the Kentucky Association has decided to revive the Ashland Oaks, which has not been run since Myrtle Harkness defeated Bracegirdle for the race in 1S0C, and September 2 has also been fixed as the dale for its closing.
