ANACONDA RECORD FOR BOOKS BROKEN. Anaconda. Mont.. August 30. An attractive program was down for decision today and there was an increased attendance. Eleven books cut in, establishing a record for this track. Speculation was extensive during the afternoou, and the public had the worst of it. Marburg, overlooked in the betting, captured the principal race of the day and incidentally equaled the track record of 1:412 for one mile. Jockey Rooney, for recent indifferent rides on Cisko and Twilight Queen, was suspended by the judges. H. G. Bedwell acquired Good Ship for 00 after the second race, in which his Descendant finished a good second. Cisko, winner of the fifth rnce, also attracted attention from the halter brigade, being bid up to 00 by J. BIdgood. This horse was retained by his owner with the customary advance.
