H. D. BROWNS RACING DATES. Laurel, Md., August 30. II. D. Brown, whose energetic efforts will provide horsemen with about 150 days of racing during the coming fall, winter and spring, announces the following schedule of dates for the three tracks of which he is the general manager: Maryland Fair Association, Laurel, M"d., October 2 to October 31, 20 days. Florida Live Stock and Agricultural State Fair Association. Jacksonville, Fla., November 30 to January 3, 30 days. Havana Jockey Club, Havana, Cuba, January 15 to March 10, 54 days. Florida Live Stock and Agricultural State Fair Association, Jacksonville, Fla., April 1 to May 4, 30 days. The decision to conduct meetings at Jacksonville preceding and followiug the meeting at Havana will necessitate the rebuilding of the grandstand at Mon-crief Park, winch recently .was destroyed by fire. Under the new arrangement of dates. Manager Brown will have considerably more time available for the completion of the splendid new racing plant that he is building at Havana.
