FINISHING TOUCHES GOING ON AT ALAN. Spokane, Wash., August 30. The painters are now taking possession of the new plant of the Coeur dAlene Fair and Racing Association at Alan, Idaho. The association colors, green and white, show up in the grandstand, stables and ollicials stands. Pennants of green and white with the American flog in the foreground will fly from a dozen poles on the opening day. The flowers in the eleven-acre park between the railroad tracks and the plant are blooming and the lawn Is in fine condition. It is said there will be no dust to combat as far as patrons are concerned. Captain Forsee will have charge of the policing of the track, with a squad of Pinkertons under him.
