NO SCRATCHES AT DUFFERIN PARK. Toronto, Out., September 9. A record that probably will stand for some time was created at Duffcrin Park today when not a horse was scratched from the card of nine races. A total of seventy-eight horses went to the barrier during the afternoon. The feature race of the day was won by Michael Augelo after a stirring contest. He just managed to beat the fast-closing Dolly Bultman in the last stride. A large crowd turned out for the opening and speculation was brisk. Form followers had a good day, six well backed favorites getting homo first. Barney Schreibers colt, Ridgeland, was the longest-priced winner of the afternoon.
