NAUSIION began slowly, but steadily improved his position and, finishing with- a rush on the outside, outstayed GUY FISHER in the final drive and won going away. The latter showed more early speed tliau usual and set the pace gamely, but tired in the last quarter. LAWTON WIGGINS saved ground while rounding the far turn and finished fast and gamely. JACK ATKIN showed a Hash of speed while rounding the far turn, but tired as if short. RACQUET ran in closest pursuit to the stretch and dropped back. Overweights Overman, 5 pounds. SOTEMIA ran well, but tired and just lasted long enough to outstay BOB R. for third place. The latter finished gamely and close up. SUPERSTITION quit after running in closest pursuit for a mile. LAD-OF LANGDEN was shunted back in the early running- and made up much ground into a fast going third. BILLY VANDERVEER set the early pace and quit in the last tuiarter.
