The latter closed a gap, showed much speed and held on gamely in the linal drive, si ONDRAMOX lcgan slowlv, but made up much ground and was going fast at the end. COLD s SPUING began slowly, but moved into a contending position in the first furlong and, taking the lead In the final sixteenth, won going away. FORT WOUTH showed much early speed after getting away poorly , snd held on well to the end. MONCREIF was outpaced in the early running, but was a fast going third, ji EAGLE BIRD showed speed, but was bumped and quit in the stretch and can do much better. WRAP ran weli. FLAMMA began slowly and was outrun to the stretch, where she closed up with a great rush and got up to win in the final strides. FLOWER GIRL also closed a gap and finished fast and gamely. ETON BLUE ran well, but was in tight quarters all through the stretch and might have won with a clear course. SADIE SHAPIRO ran a good half and tired in the stretch. CAMELLIA shotted the most early speed, but tired as if short. DARNIA, a good looker, will probably improve with racing. MISSION ran moderately well.
