MACK B BUBANKS, prominent from the start, disposed of WYANDOT in the first three furlongs and. taking a good lead, won easing up. THE REACH loomed up threateningly in the last quarter, but tired badly and h;id to be hard driven to save second place. COMMONERS TOUCH came with a rush in the last rurlong. DILATORY suffered from interference soon after the start. WYANDOT quit badly after setting the pace to the stretcli and pulled up lame. BEAUTIFUL ran a good race from a slow beginniug. VENKTA STROME ran in closest pursuit to the stretch and held on well in the closing drive. DELANEY was prominent throughout. ETHELDA quit badly in the stretch. ROYAL CAPTIVE ran poorly. KAISER began well, but had to overcomo interference in the early running and. going around the leaders on the stretch turn, drew away decisively in the last sixteenth. ISLAND QUEEN, a fast beginner, went into a good lead and set a fast pace, but swerved several times and Impeded AZYIADE sharply. The latter ran well and may have lost second place by the Interference. PLIANT had no mishaps. SLY LAD. showed speed, hut tired. Overweights Sly Lad. 3 pounds. FAIRY STORY ran a good race, was gaining steadily at the end and would have won in a few strides more. SWISH closed a great gap in the last quarter and finished fast. SIGURD was given a bad ride and should have been closer up. MOCKLER was practically left at the post and ran an excellent race. SWARTS HILL had a rough trip. Overweights Sigurd, lj pounds. The latter moved up with a rush in the stretch, but tired in the last sixteenth. FORCE had a rough trip and ran fast and gamelv. LACKROSE ran well to the stretch and quit badly in the final drive. RAMAZAN showed earlv speed SANDRIAN was beaten off all the way.
