GARRY began slowly, but gained steadily and. being taken around on the outside, just managed to get 11 in the closing strides of a fast finish. CHRVSEIS set a very fast pace, was 011 the Inside for the entire way and saved ground on the turns, but tired and succumbed right at the end. MOISANT ran well to the stretch and unexpectedly quit badly. ISIDORA also ran much below her true form and it was a falsely run race. Scratched 99240Caliph. 107. FOND HEART went Into the lead at once and won all the way, but had to be hard ridden to outstay ALL RED. The latter ran well aud finished gamely, but tired after moving up with a threatening rush on the stretch turn. PEDIGREE closed a gap and outstayed O EM in the final drive for third place. LADY McGEE ran in closest and game pursuit throughout and was under a drive "all of the last quarter. THE RUMP ran well and was jumped on and badly cut down on the turn out of the backstretch. PLATE M GLASS was well ridden and, after being saved in the early running, moved up with a rush while rouudlng 1 the turn into the homestretch and easily drew away into a long lead. CLIFF EDGE wore the tiring PRINCE AHMED down In the stretch and outstayed him for second place. The latter, was much used in racing with SIR JOHN JOHNSON for the first six furlongs and tired, but made a game finish. - BEAU-COUP finished fast. BOURBON BEAU was off poorly and could not get through. SIR JOHN JOHNSON fiult after setting a fast pace to the stretch. SENECA ran a good race and finished gamely, but tired after disposing of MONTY FOX. PAJAROITA began slowly and was carried wide on the turns, but finished fast and -would probably have won with a good start. COONEY K. ran well and finished close up.
