THRIFTY raced CHILTON SQUAW into defeat in the first live furlongs and gamely withstood IIANDRBN-NINGS challenge at the end. The latter began slowly, but gained steadily and -was wearing the leader down at the linish. CHILTON SQUAW set the pace to the stretch and finished gamely, but tiring. BLACKKFORD quit after going a good six furlongs and his race should be thrown out. IDLE-AYE ISS also ran poorly.
