KOHLER SHIPMENT TO ENGLAND DEFERRED. New York, November 13. Charles Kohlers stable of horses, recently purchased from Samuel C. 1111-dreth, were not shipped to England Saturday on the Atlantic transport liner Minnehaha, as was arranged on the day of the sale. Mr. nildreth, who will train the string abroad, arrived in Liverpool on Tuesday last and cabled orders to have the horses kept at Shecpshcad Bay for a couple o weeks. The shipment will probably he made on the steamer Minneapolis, sailing December 2. Trainer David J. Leary, who is handling the horses in the absence of Mr. Hildreth, is giving Fitz Herbert, Novelty, Zeus. Restigouche, Hampton Court, Shannon, Puggins, Gold Blade and Dinna Ken mild galloping exercise. The entire outfit Is in excellent condition at present, and, barring accidents on the ocean voyage, will go into winter quarters In splendid health. ClilT Creek, a two-year-old chestnut colt by Clifford Cayudutta, bred at General Sanfords Hurrl-cana Stud at Amsterdam, N. Y., and Chickasaw, a four-year-old brown colt by Pontiac Cloth, aro in the Hildreth barn and will accompany the rest of the horses abroad. Cliff Creek is destined for racing in England, while Chickasaw will be sent along with Dinna Ken to be trained for steeplcchas-ing in France. Fred Burlew, the American horseman, will handle this pair. Chickasaw has plenty of size and is of the right type for racing crosscountry. In addition to the- above named horses, four yearlings will leave this country in December and will carry the colors of Mr. Koliler on the British courses next year. Three of the number are colts and tho other a lilly. Tho colts are by Voter, Broomstick and Filigrane, while the filly is a daughter of Tho Scribe, a horse recently sold by John E. .Madden to Andrew Robertson of Australia. The youngsters have just arrived at Sheopshead Bay from the Ram-apo Stock Farm in New Jersey.
