BUSH, a quick beginner, drew away from his opponents in the first quarter, Won all the way, but tired in the stretch drive and just lasted long enough to win. GIFT was in close quarters in between the winner and LOATHLY LADY all of the last furlong, was best and should have won. The latter worked her way up on the outside and made a game linlsh. RED JACKET closed a great gap in the last quarter. DOROTHY T. finished gamely. DIPPER tired after running well to the stretch. Overweights Promised Land. 1 pound. . PAvrr CAMELLIA cut across to the inside soon after the start and crowded JAMES DOCKERY against the fence, this enabling her to draw away into a long lead, which she held to the end. JAMES DOCKERY S rider was forced to pull him up -to keep from going over the fence when the interference came, the colt running a pood race afterwards. Foul was claimed, but not allowed. CLIK1 EDGE finished fast, but could never get up. HILARIOUS was speedy, but ran out when entering tbc homestretch.
