COMING COON, showing the most speed from the start, drew away into a decisive lead after entering Hie homestretch and won in a canter. CHRISTMAS DAISY ran well and shook off CLOAK for second place in the last furlong. The latter began slowly and made up ground into prominence, then tired. BE Unified gamely and close up. GUN COTTON fenced well and made a threatening effort alter making the turn into the homestretch, but tired. SAM BALL was much used in racing with ENNISKILLEN and tired. IIOR1CON. running forwardly from the start, led into the stretch, but was passed, then came again and outgamed RUE in the final drive. The latter moved up rapidly while rounding the far turn and bumped her way through into the lead, but tired in the last sixteenth. SUREGET was away well, but was skiillled back on the turn out of the backstretch and made a fast finish, but could not get up. FORT V ORTH came fast in the stretch. JOE GAITENS ran well, but tired in the filial drive. THE WHIP was Ehullled back at the start. FRANK PURCELL ran poorly. Scratched 99510 Jack Nunnally, 107; 9953S Inferno Queen, 99. PRINCE AHMED began slowly and had to overcome much early Interference, was shuffled back on the first turn and forced to work his way up on the outside, but finished fast and gamely and won going away. CLIFF EDGE was sent for the lead too soon and responded with a good burst of speed when called on, but tired after disposing of BOURBON BEAU. BUSY ran forwardly all the way. but tired under his weight in the final drive. BOURBON BEAU set a fast pace for three quarters and quit. HUSKY LAD showed early speed. IIEATIIERBROOM ran as if short and was always outpaced. There was a jam on the iirt turn and SHELBY and FAIR MISS were pulled up. MISS JONAH and BELLE CLEM ran forwardly to the .stretch and tired. MONTGOMERY and HELENE were never prominent.
