7JLTIMUS WINS IMPORTANT ENGLISH STAKE. The Manchester November Handicap, the last important race of the English flat racing season, was nin at Manchester last Saturday and was won by A. Gormans four-vear-old bay colt Ultimus, by William the Third Merrv Miser. Fort finished second and Donnez Moi third. Ultimus was favorite at 9 to 4. while 10 to 1 was laid against Fort and 100 to i against Donnez Moi. The three placed horses were light weights, Ultimus being handicapped at OS pounds, Fort at 100 and Donnez Moi at . The latter is an American-bred colt. Uhe distance of the race is one and a half miles.
