ANGELUS showed much speed and set the pace into the stretch, but tired rapidly 111 the final furlong. JUAN closed a gap and ran a game race. HANNIS tired badly after showing early speed. FOLLIE LEVY showed the most speed and set a fast pace to the stretch, but was tiring at the end. HARRIGAN ran forwardly and finished gamely. ARASEE made a good effort and so did IRISH GENTLEMAN. SALALI inn well, but tired in the stretch drive. BALRONIA closed a big gap and almost got up for third place. ANNUAL INTEREST and OXER ran prominently to the stretch and tired as if short. FLORENCE A. ran into the lead on the Inst turn, but quit in the stretch drive. DUTCH ROCK set the pace to the stretch and retired. UNCLE BEN showed speed. THE liAGUE ran an extremely bad race.
