BE ran well and finished gamely. OCHRE COURT closed a big gap in the last quarter. REY only ran fairly well. QUEEN BEE quit badly in the stretch and ran much below her true form. Won easily; second and third drivings SAGER ran in close pursuit of the leaders from the start and. moving up on the outside while rounding the far turn, raced MONTCALM and RAGMAN into defeat and drew away into an easy lead In the last furlong. RAGMAN ran in closest pursuit throughout and outgamed FLAMMA in the final drive. The latter ran well and was in a pocket most of the way. MONTCALM set a very fast pace to the stretch and was pulled up when he tired and quit. HUSKY LAD ran fairly well. Scratched 00050 Siellbound. 105. Overweights Flamma. 3 pounds. BEAUCOUP was saved under restraint for five furlongs, but tired finally after making a menacing effort midway of the stretch. BOB R. ran well and outstayed JACQUELINA for third place in a game finish. The latter closed a big gap into a close up fourth. THE GOLDEN BUTTERFLY moved Into prominence on the last turn, but tired.
