ELIZABETH O., suddenly improved, began slowly, but moved up steadily in the stretch and was drawing clear at the end. DORIS WARD, from a fast beginning, showed the most speed to the stretch, but tired in the last furlong. LORD KENMORE ran well and finished with a rush. TINY TIM closed a big gap. HELEN SCOTT liegan slowly, but made up ground steadily and, wearing SABO BLEND down In the stretch, was going away at the end. SABO BLEND set a fast pace to the stretch, but was tiring fast in the last furlong and just lasted long enough to save second place. MASON was taken wide into the stretch and finished with a rush. MERISE ran well and came with a rush through the stretch. nANNAH LOUISE was gaining at the end. MARK ANTONY II. showed speed, but quitlmdly in the last furlong. ROSEBURG II. finished well. NADZU. much the best, moved up with a rush after being saved for three furlongs and won as his rider pleased after wearing HALDEMAN down. The latter showed mucli speed in pacemaking for the first seven furlongs and finished gamely. WARNER GRISWELL ran well, but was a lucky third. ANIMUS was given an easy ride and, uuder a good rider, would have been a dangerous contender. GOLCONDA quit aud can do better. 9 Scratched 99710 The Moat. 103. JESSUP BURN, showing much the most speed, went into a good lead at once and easily held the others safe for the entire race. ANAVRI was prominent all the way and finished gamely. FORT WORTH ran a good half and tired in the stretch. BELLE CLEM was going fast at the end after closing a good gap. ABRASION ran poorly and can do much better. CENTRE SHOT and BEN SAND showed early speed, but both quit badly .
