NOTES OF THE TURF. Niminy, the imported brown marc by St. Simon-mimi Catherine Douglas, owned by August Belmont, died recently at the Nursery Stud In Kentucky. John B. McLaughlin, the pool auctioneer, and Charles II. Hughes, the well-known trainer, have returned to Lexington. They will spend the holidays there and then go to Charleston, S. C. It is Mr. McLaughlins intention to make book at Cliarleston. Robert II. Davis, who has been identified with the turf for a score of years, and in recent years as part owner in the stable which campaigned Master Robert, Mary Davis, Arasec and other horses of stake caliber, has sold his beautiful summer home In Saratoga Springs.
