Looks good and has been showing his usual speed. Avernus — Half mile in 55. Was going along at the finish. Abdul — Three-quarters in 1:23%. A good looker. Bettie Su — Three-eighths in 40%. Has all her speed. Berkeley — Half mile in 53]i. Looks to be at his best. Belfast— Five -eighths in 1:00. Good work. Beach Sand — Seven-eighths iu 1:41. Was going along well in hand. Chartier — Half mile in 50. Shows some improvement with each work. Claque — Half mile iu 57. Holds all her speed aud is at her best. Commoners Touch — Five eighths in 1:0S. Has not been pressed much for speed. Demoness — Half mile In 5u-.-,. Has been working nicely for some time. Eaton — Three-quarters in 1:24. Has beeu showing a few rood works. Excalibur -Five-eighths iu 1:09. Does not seem to improve. Footlights— Mile in 1:54. Was going along well in hand. Feather Duster — Half mile iu 50. Has his old-time ■peed and is ready. Gagnant -Mile in 1:57. Looks and works well at all times. Gay Bird— Five-eighths in 1:07%. Has not been pressed much for speed. Haldemau — Mile in 1:51. Goes along well in work. Henoek — Half mile in 55%. Does not seem to improve much. Island Queen — Half mile in 53%. Shows pleutv of speed in all her works. lack Wall — Three-quarters in 1:20.
