FAMOUS ANTIPODEAN STUD DISPERSED. The most Important stud dispersal in New Zealand since the famous Wellington Lark Siud ceased to exist took place on January 26, when Mr. Beld disposed of the whole of the stock comprising the Flihrsiie stud. Mr. Beld has long been one of the foremost breeders in the Dominion, and his del tioti from the ranks of Mud masters will prove a -erioiis Mow to the breeding industry there. Then lime been far too many dispersal- In New Zealand of late years, and the horses bred there have deteriorated greatly during that time. Mr. Beld, however, was ana ol the few breeders who produced thoroughbreds on an extensive scale in the South Island, at any rate, and lie bred his full share of first-clam winners at BlderaHe.
